Whenever I strike a political conversation, common people who seriously vote, ask me one thing - are we seeing the beginning of the end of Congress?
I, without any hesitation, say yes we will see the Congress meeting the predictions of Nostradamus sincerely - haha that could be their biggest achievement, amidst their control on the national politics losing grip, by and by ...
So, what are the factors which egg me to speak about the beginning of the end ...
# The Congress is losing steam over professing outrage over minor "transgressions" of BJP, NDA and the RSS, in comparison to their countless skeletons tumbling out of the UPA cupboards ... And these skeletons are potential enough to make a skeleton out of the Congress top leaders .. haha ...
What are those skeletons scaring the Congress?
# The National Herald case, where Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were personally indicted ...
# The AugustaWestland scam ...
# Chidambaram's attempt to personally doctor the papers on LeT to fix Modi's Gujarat govt by making the killing of terrorist Ishrat Jahan look a fake encounter ...
# The benami deals of Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram

Pause
Not only these few, but there are aplenty issues simmering underneath their bottoms ... haha ...
# The revolts within the Congress ranks in Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and apparently Manipur ...
# Corruption charges against Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh Chief Ministers - Siddaramaiah and Virbhadra Singh
Pause
# Congress is on the verge of losing opposition tag to anarchic Aam Aadmi Party, which is looking good in Punjab ...
# Given the Kerala poll history, Congress may not stand a second chance ...
# It is neither expected to to unseat Trinamool Congress in West Bengal ...
# Also it cannot unseat Jayalalitha in Tamil Nadu
# Efforts of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to form an anti-BJP front nationally, is not getting much traction ...
Pause
So, where does all these leave Congress?
Nowhere, but to oblivion ...
But I for one, would love Congress to be a strong opposition, for strengthening our democracy ...
How could it be achieved ... what is the mantra?
Drop Sonia and Rahul, and bring in a politician like Sharad Pawar, who is as affable a politician as Atal B Vajpayee, cutting across party lines ...
... But who has the courage to bell the cat?
None ... the only "Man" in the Congress appears to be a "Woman" ... haha ...
